Our story
Our family's roots run deep in Thailand's starch and flour trade across generations. Our sister company, First Starch International, was founded in 1979 as a trading and export house serving industrial buyers, food manufacturers, distributors, and importers. As quality became the global differentiator, the family integrated vertically — founding T Q Industry Starch Company Limited in 2012, our own native tapioca starch factory in Ta Phraya, Sa Kaeo.
The TQ group
Today the group controls the full value chain — fresh cassava sourcing, manufacturing, quality control, packaging, and worldwide distribution. TQ Industry Starch handles native-starch manufacturing in Sa Kaeo, while First Starch International, our Bangkok-based trading arm, exports starch, flour, modified starch, and food additives worldwide.
