Tapioca starch
Three official sources publish different series on different days, so all three are shown with their dates.
| Source | Domestic | Export FOB | As of | Week-on-week |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| TTSA (premium grade) | 22.10 THB/kg | USD 700/t | 22 Sep 2026 | flat (0.00%) |
| OAE (Bangkok wholesale) | 22.24 THB/kg | USD 689/t | 3-9 Aug 2026 | +0.41% / +0.22% |
| TTTA | 20.80-21.10 THB/kg | USD 660-670/t | 17 Sep 2026 | -0.20/-0.30 THB · flat |
TTSA has published 36 postings in 2026. Every one rose or held until the price reached 22.30 THB/kg, and the only decline came on 15 September, to 22.10. The 22 September posting kept both the domestic and the export price at that level.
In the same week the TTTA lowered both ends of its domestic starch band. It is the first move in that band since it sat at 21.00-21.40 THB/kg in the tables dated 27 August, 3 September and 10 September.
TTSA publishes a producers’ reference price, TTTA a trade association band, and OAE a government wholesale survey. The three series are not expected to match.

The overall Korat range did not change on the week, but districts inside it moved in both directions. The district table below has the detail.
The 3-9 August edition is still the newest OAE bulletin available publicly as this page is prepared. The level-one figure is therefore about six and a half weeks old and does not reflect the rises in the two levels below it.
No association publishes district-level prices for the North or the Central region yet. Readers there should use levels one and two as their reference.

Vietnamese roots trade in dong per degree of starch content. Converted at the 30% basis for comparison with Thailand:
| Area | VND/kg at 30% | THB/kg at 30% | Week-on-week |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tay Ninh (incl. Cambodian roots) | 4,398-4,749 | 5.66-6.12 | flat |
| Dak Lak (Phu Yen) | 3,699-4,200 | 4.76-5.41 | ceiling +6.6 VND/degree |
| Quang Ngai (Kon Tum) | 3,900-3,999 | 5.02-5.15 | flat |
| Gia Lai (Binh Dinh) | 3,999-4,200 | 5.15-5.41 | ceiling +5.0 VND/degree |
Reference exchange rate: 1 THB ≈ 776.4 VND (24 Sep 2026). Week-on-week changes are the ones the Vietnamese association states in its own table.
This week’s baht values use the new exchange rate, so rows marked “flat” can differ slightly from last week’s page even though the dong price did not change.
On the same starch basis, the floor in every Vietnamese area (4.76-5.66 THB/kg) remains above the Korat floor of 4.00 THB/kg.
The same bulletin reports that mills in the Central Highlands and parts of the north-central region have started the 2026/27 season. The association also estimates that fresh root imports from Cambodia over the whole of 2026 will be significantly lower.
